The following terms and conditions of sale apply to the purchase of goods from lloydspharmacy.ie. these are additional to and supplement our general website terms and conditions of use which also apply.
These terms and conditions may be amended at any time and the terms and conditions that apply for each order will be those on the website at the time you place your order.
Nothing in these terms and conditions shall affect your statutory rights.
Concluding a binding contract
When we receive an order from you to purchase items from this website, you are making an offer to buy goods. This order will not be binding until we send you an email confirming that we have dispatched the ordered items to you or you receive the items, whichever happens first. Our professional codes of conduct and legal restrictions may limit the number of any item we are permitted to supply to you and, as such, we have no obligation to supply quantities exceeding the relevant permitted maximum and will charge only for those we do supply. If any ordered item is out of stock, we will send you an email notifying you of this fact and will refund the cost of the item. We reserve the right to reject any order.
Where do LloydsPharmacy deliver to?
We deliver anywhere in the Republic of Ireland. Our deliveries are with An Post. You will receive a text message or email from An Post on the day of your delivery with an estimated time of delivery of your order.
Orders received on Weekdays up to 2pm GMT will be processed and dispatched the next day. Orders received after 2pm GMT on weekdays will be processed and dispatched on the following working day (this will be Monday for orders received after 2pm on Fridays, or Tuesday if it's a bank holiday). Normally all products on our website are held in stock, but on the rare occasion that an item is out of stock, we will contact you with the expected delivery time. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email from us with a tracking number.
Orders received after 2pm Friday up to midnight Saturday will be dispatched by us, and sorted by An Post on Monday.
We deliver from Monday - Saturday* (excluding Bank Holidays).
*Saturday deliveries are only to major towns and cities including Dublin, Cork, Galway, Waterford, Limerick.
Help us avoid any further delays to your delivery
Please ensure that your delivery address is correct (including postcode/Eircode ) before paying for your order. We are unable to take responsibility for the loss of a parcel where incorrect or incomplete delivery details have been provided.
Our delivery charges
Delivery costs will be added to the cost of your order. The cost of delivery will depend on the total cost of your ordered items and will automatically be added to the “Item Summary” section of the Payment Details page prior to you completing your order. We offer free delivery on orders over €40. The details of this offer will be specified when placing your order

Delivery timescales are approximate and subject to availability. We cannot give any guarantees as to the precise timing of a delivery. We do not take responsibility for delays once the products have been dispatched from our warehouse. All orders from this website are traceable and require a signature upon delivery.
If your order is delayed by more than 21 days we will give you the option to cancel your order. Please email us or call us if you wish to cancel your order.

What happens if you are not available when An Post try to deliver your order?
If you are not at home to accept the delivery, we'll leave a card with the courier's contact details. You can then give them a call to re-arrange delivery or arrange to collect your order.

Although we will make every effort to ensure your products are delivered within the time stated, we have no responsibility for any loss or damage arising as a result of the late delivery or non-delivery of products. No compensation is payable to the customer for delayed receipt or inconvenience.
You should check the content of each delivery promptly upon receipt. If you believe that items have been sent to you in error, you should contact us immediately.

Right to Cancel
If you are not happy with an item, please let us know within 14 days from the date of receipt of your order that you wish to cancel the ordered item. You can let us know by either (i) returning the items with the returns form within the 14 day period or by contacting us within the 14 day period:

Once you cancel your order within 14 days following the date of receipt of your order and we receive your returned item within 14 days of your notification of cancellation we are happy to provide a refund provided the products are unopened, unused and in the original packaging.
Items must be returned in the condition you received them. For health protection and hygiene reasons, we are unable to offer refunds, replacements or exchanges on certain medical or personal care items that have been opened or any product with a hygiene seal that has been broken (unless you are returning them because they are damaged or faulty).
You are responsible for any postage incurred in returning the items you wish to cancel to us. Unfortunately, we do not refund postage on return of part orders.
We reserve the right to refuse an exchange or refund if goods are not returned in a saleable condition or are damaged. If the item was faulty or damaged when delivered or collected from store, an exchange or refund will be offered.
Electrical and photographic equipment will only be accepted if complete with all leads, accessories and software. Any software must have its original seal intact.
All returns are evaluated before being processed.
Unless faulty, medicines, food, personalised gifts or cosmetics products which have been opened cannot be refunded or exchanged
How to Return Items
We will do our best to help you return any unwanted items quickly and efficiently.
You can return your items either by post, courier or in person to a LloydsPharmacy Store convenient to you. Returns must be received by us within 14 days of you notifying us that you wish to return your items. Your order confirmation note is required for verification purposes as well as your telephone and contact details.
Returns to a LloydsPharmacy store
You can return the items to any LloydsPharmacy store, for an exchange or refund. You will need a copy of your order confirmation which will be requested by a colleague in the pharmacy. You must bring the same card you used to make your payment so we can process your refund.
Returns by post
To return items by post, please repackage them carefully and send them back to the LloydsPharmacy Online store, Leopardstown Shopping Centre, Ballyogan Road, Dublin 18, D18 R8Y7.
The cost of returning unwanted items is at your expense and as we do not offer a collection service you should use your own carrier. We recommend that you use a carrier who can give you a “Proof of Posting”, as until the parcel is received by us at the above address, it will remain your responsibility.

Once you cancel your order within 14 days following the date of receipt delivery and we receive your returned item within 14 days of your notification of cancellation, we are happy to provide a refund provided the products are unopened, unused and in the original packaging. Please allow up to 10-14 days for refunds to show up on your account, from the date we receive your return. We will refund you by the same method the original payment was received (eg a Credit Card payment will be refunded back onto the same card).
We will refund any standard postage paid on orders returned in full. Unfortunately, we do not refund postage on returns of part-orders. If you do not receive your refund within 14 days of us receiving the returned items, please contact us by email with your order number at email@example.com
If you have paid for your order by PayPal, you can only return your order by post. PayPal orders cannot be returned to store.
Unfortunately, you cannot return prescription medicines or anything that has a hygiene seal that has been broken. You have the right to reasonably inspect your items as you would in a shop, but you cannot return items that you have used unless you are returning them because they are damaged or faulty.
Damaged or faulty goods
In the unfortunate event that any item that we have supplied is faulty or has been damaged in transit, please contact us as soon as possible after receiving the item. We will require details of the damage or fault and also the order reference number relating to the item. If you contact us within 30 days and supply the requisite information, we will either refund the cost of the item (including any delivery charges incurred) or replace or repair the item free of charge. This does not apply to items that have failed due to wear and tear. You may have additional manufacturers’ warranties with some products, such as electrical items, giving you additional rights and you should check these carefully.
A notification of damaged or faulty products after 30 days from the date of delivery will be considered on a case by case basis. A full refund or replacement is not guaranteed after the expiry of the 30 day period. Any goods notified to us as being damaged or faulty after 6 months from the date of delivery will not be refunded or replaced.
Health and safety warning
Electrical products sold on this website are designed for use in Ireland. If supplied with a power adaptor it will be fitted with an Irish plug. They may not be suitable for use in other countries and you should check with the manufacturer before doing so.
You should read the instructions that come with the packaging before using the product and observe any specific warnings given by the manufacturer.
Not all products are suitable for all medical ailments and, occasionally, their use may interfere with any treatment you are receiving or aggravate a condition. You should check with your GP before using any medical product.
Physical fitness products may not be suitable for use by some individuals. You should check with your GP before embarking on any fitness programme.
Failure to do so may seriously damage your health.
Our maximum liability for our failure to fulfil an order that we are legally bound to fulfil will be limited to the price paid by you for that order. Any typographical or other error on this website is subject to correction without any liability on our part. Any advice or recommendation given on this website or otherwise given to you by us, or any of our employees or agents, is followed or acted upon entirely at your own risk and we are not liable for such advice or recommendation.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions of Sale excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, or our fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that may not be excluded or limited by Irish law
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and waste batteries should not be placed in your waste disposal or recycling bins. WEEE is taken back free of charge at electrical retail outlets on a one-for-one like-for-like basis. If you have purchased an electrical item from this website and would like to return the old electrical item that it is replacing, please bring your old electrical item, together with proof of purchase of your new item to any LloydsPharmacy store and we will recycle it for you. There is also a bin for small batteries in each LloydsPharmacy store. Local authority civic amenity facilities also take back WEEE and waste batteries free of charge. WEEE and waste battery recycling is free.
Gift certificates and e vouchers
We currently offer two different types of gift certificates: 1) Gift Vouchers and 2) E-Vouchers
Gift Vouchers are a paper certificate delivered to the address you specify at the time of order. Gift Vouchers ordered through this website may be redeemed, in full or part payment of products on this website or in any LloydsPharmacy store in Ireland. Unfortunately, it is not currently possible to redeem our Gift Vouchers in LloydsPharmacy stores in Northern Ireland or on any other LloydsPharmacy website.
When you order a Gift Voucher, please ensure to enter the recipient’s email address correctly. We cannot be held responsible if the address is entered incorrectly and someone other than the intended recipient uses the Gift Voucher.
Only one Gift Voucher may be used per transaction. Where a Gift Voucher is used the transaction value will be deducted and a new Gift Voucher to the value of the balance will be issued by post (if ordering products online) or in the store where the Gift Voucher is being part-redeemed. Gift Vouchers may be exchanged for goods of a higher value with the difference paid by cash (in store), card (in store or on this website) or Paypal (website only).
E-Vouchers are a paperless, electronic voucher only redeemable on this website. They will be delivered to the email address you specify at the time of order.
Only one E-Voucher may be used per transaction. Where an E-Voucher is used the transaction value will be deducted and a new E-Voucher to the value of the balance will be sent to the email address provided at the time the items are purchased using the E-Voucher. E-Vouchers may be exchanged for goods of a higher value with the difference paid using a card or through Paypal.

All prices on this website are in euros and include VAT where applicable unless expressly stated otherwise. We try to ensure that all pricing information on our website is accurate but occasionally errors may occur. We shall be under no obligation to fulfil an order for a product that was advertised at an incorrect price. If the actual price of the item is higher than that displayed on the website at the time you placed your order, we will contact you for instructions using the information provided on your order and give you the choice of cancelling your order or paying the correct price. Colleague discount is only valid for colleagues of PHX Ireland Group of companies. Code is valid from the first day of the month until the month's end. Colleague discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other voucher or discount code. Colleague discount codes cannot be used on discounted items or any offer or product which we deem inappropriate for discount. Promotional codes can be used in conjunction with delivery promotions (i.e. free delivery on orders of €40 or over). Please note: some promotional codes may only be valid for one redemption per customer.
