On the 31st of January, we’ll be closing the LloydsPharmacy website and app as we transition all services to our brand-new McCabes Pharmacy app. Don’t worry - we’ll keep you informed every step of the way!

  • Q: Why is LloydsPharmacy changing its name to McCabes?

    A: We are excited to announce that we are changing our name to McCabes Pharmacy. This change marks a significant milestone as we unite to form a network of 110 pharmacies nationwide, making us the largest and most patient-centric community pharmacy chain in Ireland. Our goal is to enhance our offerings and continue providing exceptional care to meet our patients' evolving healthcare needs, all under the much loved brand of McCabes Pharmacy.

  • Q: Will my prescriptions or medication orders be affected by the rebrand from Lloydspharmacy to McCabes?

    A: No, your prescriptions and medication orders will not be affected. Everything will continue as usual, and you will receive the same high standard of care and service. However, if you prefer to order your prescriptions online, you should continue to use the Lloydspharmacy website or app until the 31st of January when we will move the online prescription orders to the new McCabes site and app.

  • Q: Can I still use the LloydsPharmacy website or app to order my repeat prescription or upload my new prescription if my local pharmacy has recently rebranded to McCabes Pharmacy?

    A: Yes, you can continue to upload new prescriptions or order repeat prescriptions through our DigiScript service on the current LloydsPharmacy website or app until the end of January. From the 1st of February, online prescription orders will transition to the McCabes website and new app.

  • Q: How do I book an appointment for a vaccination or health service if my LloydsPharmacy has recently rebranded to McCabes Pharmacy?

    A: You can still book an appointment for a health service or vaccination at your preferred pharmacy through the LloydsPharmacy website or app until the 31st of January. From 1st of February, you can book your appointments on mccabes.com or download the new McCabes app.

  • Q: What happens to my appointment bookings made on the LloydsPharmacy website and app?

    A: Your appointment bookings will not be affected by the rebranding. All appointment details will remain the same, and you will receive the same high standard of care and service. If your local pharmacy has rebranded to McCabes Pharmacy by the time of your appointment, simply go to the same location as scheduled.

    You can still book appointments for health services or vaccinations at your preferred pharmacy through the LloydsPharmacy website or app until the 31st of January. From 1st February, you can book your appointments on mccabes.com or download the new McCabes app

    A: No, our store opening hours will remain the same even after rebranding to McCabes Pharmacy. You can find current hours on our Store Locator.

    Please note that opening hours may vary during bank holidays and the Christmas season, so be sure to check the LloydsPharmacy website for updates. From 1st February all store opening hours and directions will be listed on Mccabes.com store locator.

    A: Both the LloydsPharmacy website and app will remain fully operational until 31st January 2025 for booking appointments, ordering prescriptions through DigiScript, and checking store hours and contact details. From 1st February 2025 these services will move to the new McCabes App and Website, don't worry we will provide guidance on what you need to do next.

  • Q: Will there be any changes to the services offered in the pharmacy?

    A: No, the services you rely on will remain the same. We will continue to provide in-store services and expert advice, including prescription services, health screenings, health consultations, emergency contraception, and vaccinations, along with our quick and convenient DigiScript online prescription service. Our expanded network will allow us to offer even more comprehensive and convenient healthcare solutions.

    Until the 31st of January, you can continue using the LloydsPharmacy website and app to book appointments, order prescriptions online, and find store locator details.

  • Q: Will my local LloydsPharmacy store remain open?

    A: Yes, all existing LloydsPharmacy locations will remain open and will transition to the McCabes Pharmacy brand. The staff and services you know and trust will continue as before. You can find your local store using our Store Locator.

  • Q: Will there be any changes to the staff at my local pharmacy?

    A: No, the dedicated pharmacy teams you know will continue to provide the friendly faces, expert advice, and great value you have come to expect. Our commitment to maintaining the trust and confidence you place in us remains unchanged.

    A: The LloydsPharmacy website will remain fully operational for booking appointments and ordering prescriptions through DigiScript until the end of January. From the 30th November, you will no longer be able to place orders for home delivery or delivery to your local store. However, there will be a comprehensive range of products available on the McCabes Pharmacy website

  • Q: Can I still place orders for home delivery on the LloydsPharmacy website or app?

    A: Yes, you can continue to order for home delivery on the LloydsPharmacy website or app until the 30th November. However, you will find a larger range of products available on the McCabes Pharmacy website, which also offers faster delivery times and free delivery on orders over €48.

  • Q: What happens to delivery to local store orders placed on the LloydsPharmacy website?

    A: There will be no changes to this service until 30th November. If you place an order on the LloydsPharmacy website and the store has transitioned to McCabes Pharmacy by the time you collect, you can still pick up your order as usual. Simply go to the same location and provide your order details as you normally would.

    However, you will find a larger range of products available on the McCabes Pharmacy website, and a free Click and Collect service.

    A: No, there will be no changes to the refund policy. Refunds will be handled the same way as before, whether you are dealing with a LloydsPharmacy or a McCabes Pharmacy store.
