We talk to Aoife Galvin,Pre-Registration Pharmacist at LloydsPharmacy to learn a little more about her and her experience over the last eight months since joining the team.

How long have you worked in LloydsPharmacy?

I will have worked with LloydsPharmacy for eight months now.

What’s your role?

Pre-Registration Pharmacist.

What do you like about working in LloydsPharmacy?

The people are great, there is a friendly atmosphere and a busy environment.

Why did you choose Pharmacy?

I chose Pharmacy as it combined my interest in science with opportunities for patient care.

What areas of Pharmacy interest you?

Clinical Pharmacy would be my main interest but there are so many to choose from. I also like pharmacoeconomics’s and pharmacovigilance.

If you could do something different what would it be?

If I had to choose something other than healthcare, I think I’d like to study law

What do you love about being a Technician/a Pharmacist/a student in LloydsPharmacy?

Being a part of the provision of a wide range of excellent pharmacy services offered by LloydsPharmacy, each day is dynamic and diverse, and the fantastic team focus within the workplace.

Tell us one thing about yourself that we may not already know?

I enjoy learning languages in my spare time.

What has LloydsPharmacy changed about you as an employee?

As an employee, I am now more aware of the opportunities for career progression available with LloydsPharmacy.
